How to... set additional magnetic points/lines to a shape?

I'm quite sure that we don't have anything like that at the moment. One thing 
which might be similar is to paint the 'quiet zone' outside of the shape. I 
think the text shape does do something like that. However that might not be 
what you are actually looking for.
