Karbon or Karbon14?

Oh for those wonderful days of yesteryear, when geeks were still geeks and 
small furry creatures from alpha centauri were still real small furry 
creatures from alpha centauri! Life was easier, then, and the grass was 
greener, also the beer cheaper, and for a penny we'd walk to school and 
back, uphill both times!
