Hello,
Over many months the Kexi mailing list was silent with about two posts
every month [1], yet they were announcements from the Kexi Team.
So I'd like to propose to entirely move from this kexi at kde.org mailing
list to Kexi (web) forum hosted by our mother project, KDE:
http://forum.kde.org/kexi
(shortcut from Kexi web site also exists: http://kexi-project.org/forum)
== The Deadline ==
If no reasonable traffic appear on this mailing lists until May 23,
all users posting here after that date will be asked to repost on the
forum.
For those addicted to mailing lists: reading the forum exclusively via
email (and later maybe even writing?) would be possible if there are
requests for this feature. I personally use notifications for both
subforums and it is OK so far.
== Purpose of the Kexi forums ==
The forum was recently created for two purposes:
- discussions about Kexi, ideas, future developments
- general requests for help
Each purpose is handled by a dedicated sub-forum.
== Popularity ==
These forums are relatively active already, and much more active than
kexi at kde.org even was.
The extra advantage of the web forums is that once you have registered
account you can use the forum from any computer without accessing your
email.
Searching of the forum also seems to be easier.
PS: All other Calligra apps have either dedicated forum or general
'Calligra' forum can be used: http://forum.kde.org/viewforum.php?f=203
