    Related:
    If we look at radical changes, New and Open actions are not among most frequently used. I removed them from Kexi and have only in File/Kexi menu.
    Save could stay as the first action for this iteration what's good for muscle memory.
    Undo/Redo are the top actions too.

    Hiding whole sidebar could be enough, the only action. No need to hide individual panes. This is the same limitation 'by design' as not allowing to hide menu entries (MS tried it and failed in 2000-2001).

    More view-related actions here is good for space conservation and it is place proved to be well exposed, always visible, predictable, e.g. in editors and graphics apps of many kinds.
