Yes very. Bookmarks, anchors and softbreaks are evil in that they are are non 
visible characters.

With Qt5 we are working on invisible fragments which may help. Another 
alternative is to have some sort of NonVisiblePositionsManager

Checking for KoTextBlockData::paintStrategy() returning != 0 should probably 
do it
