That is because we didn't have the tool so far (ie git), and we are small 
enough project to accept delay when something breaks in a single application 
(as opposed to KDE SC) and we still need to streamline the process, but 
basically if features are merged following the rules that there is no known 
bug by the developers. Then it should be possible to follow a time based 
schedule.
