I would suggest something like this:

area-title-nick

Where area is the name of application (kword^D, kspread...) or of the library
(pigment, flake, main, koreport) or shapes or filters (or any other area). The
title is a description of what is worked in the branch, and nick is the name
of the contact person (and it is last, because personnaly I don't care so much
about that information, OI prefer sorting on the actual content).

So if I am working on a new filter for krita with a wave effect, it would go
like this:
krita-wave-effect-filter-berger

Well this is just guidelines, anyway. If someone wants to put his branch on a
personal repository, nothing can prevent it. But it is what I would suggest
that we do ourself, and that we suggest to new comers that want to develop a
new features.
