For marketing purposes, we should see if we can get devs from the recent
days to mention us on planet. ;)

It looks like people like statistics. Maybe it would be good to do a "state
of the bugsquad" post. And summarize what sorts of things we've done. We went
through all of the kopete bugs! We've gone and floored the konq devs by giving
them testcases. And those are just the ones I've talked to...

I think we've wildly knocked down the numbers of bugs in bz. We have new people.
We seem to get ~2 or so new ones every BugDay, btw. At least with the ones I've
been involved with. We still probably have Seli out of the top ten! (I'm using a
virtual theoretical seli here who would close ~10 bugs/week, as it looks like
he hasn't been active much.)

We have slipped a little since akademy, konq bugs have gone above 2400/2000,
but lots of reports have come in as well. We don't have kde overall as "green"
for the past 30 days. But hopefully that's just people taking a break, or
going back to school, or something. (*hides* as it's true for me)

This may all change after the last bugdays get processed.

It looks like our marketing and all from the past worked, based on what people
have said. So the main thing is "how to get them coming back" and the real
thing I'd like to know is how long do people stay on BugSquad before they
move off into just development? I realize not everyone does that, but we get
some attrition from that...

As to further marketing, well, if you aren't tired of blue hair, Ossi is going
to hold me to his bet. ;-) Actually, even if you are tired of it. According
to my blog comments, iirc, it is to knock seli out of the top 20 for three
months running. If we can do that, then he gets blue hair. Otherwise, for this
one, I actually get blue hair. (Is that a problem? Will everyone want to see
me with blue hair and then stop all bugwork?) I'm actually not sure how
doable this is, given the past rate of seli's bugclosing and the number of
bugs. ie possibly mathematically infeasible. (to be done by next akademy)

Do you care to market this? ;)
Or are you tired of blue hair?

Did the bugsquad group pics from akademy get posted somewhere? Do people who
are curious know where they are? Bart Coppens took them, and they're on his
site somewhere. I also happen to have a version where FiNeX went and colored
everybody with blue hair. :D

blue blue blue but just the hair
