Hi Jan,
seems like your system doesn't have any Phonon backend installed (any
more). I believe you'll need to install the package
"phonon4qt5-backend-vlc".
(Amarok is one of the few applications using Phonon for audio playback,
so it is not unexpected that you are not experiencing issues with other
software's audio)
