Bug 333745 - Amarok exports unreadable playlists for other players...

I think it is due to a change in the behaviour of either QUrl or KUrl. I
will investigate this further once I have my development environment setup.
I seem to recall there are some subtle changes (bugs fixed) in how QUrl is
working these days.
