Running Kubuntu 10.10 with KDE 4.5.5 and I have just upgraded to Amarok 2.4. At about 1 minute intervals, Amarok will do a music scan which lasts a few seconds. This never happened with the previous version and I have about 15,000 tracks in the collection.
