Hi Don,

git master is what will become 2.4.1 in a few weeks. And git contains
a tag for 2.4.0. Is that what you mean?
If you mean distro packages of 2.4.0 then yes those sometimes are not
ready in time. This depends on the distro packager and how much time
they have and what their release schedule allows. These packages are
not done by the Amarok team so you'd need to ask the distribution you
want packages for.
