Amarok will not come up

  This is a strange problem.  If I call it up from an icon or konsole 
window as "amarok".  It comes up with a KDE Bug Report and claims "not 
enough information".  However, I can beat it if I use "strace -o 
amarok.err amarok"  without or with --debug.  Amarok comes up and works 
like a charm even with the new boot splash.

Other than a timing issue can anyone think of an idea.

openSuSE 11.3 and KDE 4.4.4 (release 2) - and a git version of amarok 
2.4 git.  I don't feel it is permissions.
