100% cpu loop with Amarok, Phonon-Xine and USB soundcard

Hi!

Does anyone here use Amarok with USB sound card and something similar to

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=193149

?

In short:

It happens that Amarok starts using up 100% CPU at unpredictable times.
Once it starts doing so, only quitting it and starting it again will help.
First I thought only after resuming from hibernation, but I had this often
enough just out of the blue air.

I already found that it doesn't happen gstreamer engine of Phonon, but
that one has other problems. Since debugging this one as far as I could
had been quite a time sink for me and since AFAIK Xine is still the
recommended engine, I do not want to add another case at the moment. And
actually its about two or three problems that made me switch from
gstreamer backend to the xine one again.

The bug report above seems stuck as requiring more information, but I am
not sure about the best and most efficient ways to provide them. I already
provided strace logs, information about hardware and the used debian
software package versions.

It would also help to find a pattern if it doesn't only happen for me.

I never had such issues with Amarok 1.4.x.

Ciao,
