Greyed out details

Last problem for tagging, I think.  I have a few large wav tracks, taken from 
vinyl recordings of classics.  Opening Edit track details shows me the name in 
the Title field, but it is greyed out - as are all the other fields except 
Comment.

I've checked the tracks in Dolphin's preview, and they all play correctly.

What's happening here?
