Replaygain set - No sound difference

Hi,

I'm trying to have replaygain used by Amarok but can't figure out how to 
do so.

- Replaygain is set to track in the menu
- Tried Xine : Gstreamer backends
- Tags are properly set in the database (ie amarok read them if I 
understand well)

My problem is that there are no sound difference wehther replaygain is 
set or not, and it's making me mad for weeks now...
Any clue on what I could be missing to have it work properly ?
