Amarok 2.0.2 not playing cd's

I'm presently playing an audio cd with Amarok 1.4 and it works fine. Are you 
saying Amarok 2 can't play audio CDs?

It's hard to find the words to describe an audio player that can't deal with 
CDs. Incomplete comes to mind.
