Beginner's request for help with plug-in development

Hello,
I'm interested in plug-in development for Amarok 2. I was trying to
find some examples or at least plug-in api documentation, I could only
find Amarok api documentation, unfortunatelly i'm not sure how to make
at least simple plugin, since i don't even know which interfaces do i
need to implement etc.
Can someone please guide me through the very begining stage? Maybe
some simple example would help a lot.
