MP3 Support?

Hello,

I used to be able to play MP3 files with Amarok, but after a recent update
it stopped working!

I am running Amarok 1.4.9.1on KDE 3.5.10.

When I try to add an MP3 song to the playlist the first time after opening
Amarok, it asks me if I want to install MP3 support for Amarok. I click on
the 'install MP3 support' button, but nothing happens. When I re-try to add
the file, it pops up a message saying the file was not added because the
media is not playable....

Please help!
