Edit id3 tags

Hello list,

if i want to edit id3 tags with the "Edit track details"
then the artist tag is sometimes not written to the mp3
file. (version 2.2.1)

If i edit the tags with eg kid3 then the tags are not 
displayed if i re open the "Edit track details" dialog 
in Amarok. I have to remove the track from the playlist
and if i add it again then the tags are re-read from the
track again.

Is there some caching active regarding the tags?
