Hey! This has nothing to do with Linux or Windows. You changed versions of the 
program and version 2.0 or later is different from version 1.4. You can still 
use version 1.4 - you don't need to change to version 2. I hope you backed up 
all your amarok files before you did the update, right?

Sooner or later someone will come up with a database conversion tool.
