Special characters not shown correctly

I'm really happy with Amarok! Thanks for a great tool!

I'd like to call your attention to the display of special characters - they
are shown just as empty rectangles.
I've attached a picture with details, which shows also the Amarok version.
I'm using Kubuntu 8.04.1.
I hope you can correct this small detail, it will improve usability for non
English users.
