As far as I am aware there is no one working on this particular bug. The way I 
started in Amarok was just to dive in! Attach your patch to the bug reports 
and one of the devs will look it over before it gets committed. If there's 
anything wrong with it, you'll be told before it gets committed.

As long as you follow the coding style (read the docs in HACKING) and you dont 
do anything monumentally stupid you cant really go far wrong =)
