I've just upgraded from Kubuntu 7.10 to 8.04 which comes with Amarok 1.4.9.1, all seems OK apart from one thing. In the 'right-click' menu, where it used to say 'Edit track information' I now get 'Broken Translation Edit track inf..' with the country set as UK.
