No that was not what I meant. The point was, that since the streams we
use for playing Ampache tracks are actually straight links the the
actual ( in most cases ) you can download them with no additional
Ampache API required.

Still, this is minor nitpicking!Go ahead and submit your proposal to
GSoC and I will sign up to mentor it.
