amarok fails to start remotely over X11

About a year ago I tried an amarok webserver, but it was very
primitive and inefficient - it took a very long time to refresh the
page, and sometimes would just turn into a zombie eating up CPU cycles
but not working. Maybe I'll have to give it another try now.
