Improved device support, syncing, mtp, last.fm

There's no patch attached.  According to the email, it says "a non-text 
attachment was scrubbed"...it looks like it was interpreted as a binary file.

Also, I assume these changes are against trunk.  Changes like this cannot go 
into the stable branch.
