Amarok won't scrobble; any other audio player will

Hello,

I have a problem with Amarok. As of yesterday, it will not scrobble 
(send any data about last played songs to last.fm); just says that there 
is an error (but WHICH error?) sending data

However, *any* other last.fm-enabled audio player is able to send data.

I've tried creating a new last.fm account; didn't work.

Any clues?

This is Amarok 1.4.8 on Arch Linux.
