sharing postgres DB

hello.

i am running version 1.4.9.1 on two separate boxes and they both are using
postgres, accessing the same database, and i added
"DynamicCollection=false" to the "[Collection]" in amarokrc on both.  on
Box 1, i added some albums to the database, and i can see them in the
database, but nothing is in collections when i open up Amarok on box 2. 
what am i  doing wrong?  i would like to set it up so every box that uses
Amarok uses the same database and the collections are always the same. 
the mp3s themselves are on
