ID3v2.4 problem (again)

Hello.

Is there *ANY* way to make amarok save ID3 tags using ID3v2.3 instead
of 2.4? I know it's up to taglib, but maybe there's a patch floating
around somewhere that uses another library? Or a script that converts
2.4->2.3 automatically? Anything?

I've just spent an hour searching for solution, and all I got is a
high blood pressure.

I'll be grateful for any hints.
