The only disadvantage is another dependancy that would be required.
Or, we could bundle libspiff, which might not be a bad idea. Is
libSpiff platform independant?

I've often wondered why we don't use xspf as the default playlist
format in Amarok. It's open, free, stable and very robust. Much better
than the terrible pls/m3u formats.
