Amarok not adding newly added files to my collection

Well, I got it so far now that it recognises the album when I put it in a 
subdirectory of the mount root point. I have the impression that 
upgrading to the newlry released sqlite 3.4.1 Mandriva RPM also helped 
fix some problems. But when I move the album to /mnt/Music, it's not 
recognised at all.

Is this limitation still true? Is there really no other solution than 
rescanning the whole collection? Could not Amarok occasionally run 
something equivalant to "ls -l /mnt/Music" or use inotify for that 
directory to at least detect newly added or removed files in the moint 
point?
