Trying to run amarok outside of /usr

Hiho
I have kind of a weird setup:
mounted /usr over unionfs in home, changed PATH to the usr in home and did
LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the library in home.
I installed the svn in this fake usr (using --prefix) and now i try to start
it but amarok complains about not finding engines and advises me to use the
kde prefix.

Does somebody know how to fix this and why this is happening?
I don't want to overwrite my stable amarok with the svn version but also test
the svn version.

Greetings
Christian Engels
