I'm actually thinking this branch could make it back to trunk shortly... it 
has a new layout, and as a bonus it plays video!.  There are a few things 
still on the todo (the playlist currently looks like poo) but I didn't really 
want to do it in trunk/ because it broke things until it got this far.
