I hate to say it, because I have no idea if it will help and it might
make other things wonky. But have you remerged xine-lib or tried to
unmask 1.1.4 and emerged that? And it might be worthwhile to do a
'emerge --unmerge amarok && emerge xine-lib amarok' and see what
happens. This would at least replicate what the other poster said about
making source builds on SuSE.
