xine-engine switches to default

Hi! 

I'm using SVN-version that's about a week old.
(cant compile newer SVN-versions. Cause of QT4/KDE4)

When I enter hw:0,0 in the "stereo" settings dialog for the xine-engine
the first track plays normally, but if I switch tracks by clicking a song in 
the playlist, it changes back to default (which in my case is hw:1,0).

Been using SVN-versions for a long time now, and I must say I'm impressed
by the quality of the work you guys do!
