Lost the "added within" feature

In the collection tab, Amarok now says every song played is newly added to 
my collection.  When I select "added today" i see my new music, but it 
also lists any tunes played today.

So if I play three songs and rip two songs "added today" will list all 
five songs.

This used to work, I didn't notice when it broke.  My music files are on 
NFS, if that makes any difference.  Any suggestions?
