i've also wanted to ask for this feature for some time, but didn't 
consider it to be top priority :)

hmm. but there already is interfaces for this - the only thing that is 
added is the possibility to add this property to several tracks 
(currently adding it to a second track removes 'stop' symbol from the 
first one)
