Duplicate tracks in collection problem

I have about 20 albums in subdirectories, which I configured Amarok to
add to my "Collection".  Each track title is duplicated in the
"Collection" tab.  I only found two article in google about regarding
the duplicates.  I've made certain that there is only one directory
selected, and still there are duplicated titles.  Can tell me how I
might eliminate the duplicates?  I'm using Amarok 1.4.6 under Fedora 7.
