slow search in 3k Playlist

Hi

I use a Playlist with more than 3000 entries.
the Problem when writing/saving playlist is solved now (Shutdown).

but since 1.4.x I have the problem that searching took a long time and
freezes the GUI.

For example, I am listening to my Allday-Playlist and want to search for
xyz. I press x, Amarok says: "2500 of 3000 shown"  emediately.
But then I press y (and than z, but z is not shown) and the gui freezes
(no bargraph, no reaction, no other song if previous songs ends...) this
can last for 3 to 15 seconds.
suddenly amarok displays the songs containing xyz and everything is back.


System: Dell Desktop 2.4 Ghz P4 768 Mb Ram
Only Amarok and Firefox running (KDE)
Mysql DB on other server (is it used to search in local playlist?
because Sql-Server is a bit slow (350 Mhz). New Server is in Test-Mode,
but not working yet.)
