Lyrics Editing

Lyrics editing seems to have a regression.

When you click on the "Edit" button and edit a lyric, all presses of
the "Enter" key result in a <p> tag instead of a <br> tag.

Is that expected behavior? If so, how can I get a <br> tag.
Ctrl+Enter, Shift+Enter all don't work.
