Hi folks,
I completely new to amarok and I hope not to ask too stupid questions.
My System: Kubuntu 6.06 with amarok 1.4.3 on KDE 3.5.5
What happend:
I mounted a SMB share sucessfully to a directory on my laptop, started
amarok, indexed the files properly and could play the files. Very nice
so far.
Then I ended amork, and found the mount point for the SMB share not that
lukily chosen. So I umounted the file system (amarok was not running)
and remounted it somewhere else. Then I restarted amarok and my problems
begun.
Since then I am not able to play any files from the SMB mount. Amarok
claims that it is rebuilding the collection - and does nothing. Ok, the
collection IS huge (about 8000 files), but the screen doesn't change
even the progressbar at the bottom has finished to 100%.
I had to kill amarok, as it appearantly was not responding anymore. Then
I moved the mountpoint to the old location, started amarok again, same
behaviour.
Seems that I totally messed up the internal SQLite Database. Is there a
way to re-initialize amarok, so I can start from scratch again?
Regards,
Martin.
