Kenwood car stereo playlist format

Hi all,
I have a Kenwood car stereo which can play media files on a USB device.

To enable all the search functionality and to create playlists, you must
use a Windows-only program called Kenwood Music Editor Light to create a
database of the media files on the USB device.

I'd like to create a plugin to do this from Amarok - is anyone else
interested in this functionality?

I have an almost-complete description of the database file format at:

along with a Python 3 decoder program.
