Heya,

we should really try to reduce our Windows installer size.
It is currently at 88MB. I guess I was able to cut about
1.1MB with the latest changes and some files to blacklist,
but there is still a lot to do.

While we are at it this could lead to smaller *nix packages,
too. The 2.4.3 packages for opensuse have a size of 8.2 MB
(21.8 installed) and also profit from the 1MB (!) first start
jingle size reduction accordingly.

So, what can we still do?
Generally:
* Check for unused images/icons again
* some icons look very similar -> merge them?

For Windows:
* blacklist unneeded stuff

According to TheOneRing more stuff could be found by extracting
the portable Windows installer and check what is not needed there.
It also includes KDE icons, many of those might not be needed for
Amarok...

For comparison:
* iTunes 10.5.2 (x64): 68.01 MB
* WMP: wmp11-windowsxp-x86-DE-DE.exe: 24.6MB

* Clementine 0.7.3: 3.6 MB OpenSuse 12.1 package, 12.4 MB installed
* Tomahawk 0.3.3:   2.7 MB OpenSuse 12.1 package,  9.2 MB installed
* Amarok 2.4.3:     8.2 MB OpenSuse 12.1 package, 21.8 MB installed
* Amarok 1.4.10:    2.7 MB OpenSuse 12.1 package,  7.9 MB installed

We should be able to beat iTunes, shouldn't we? :-)

Any more ideas what we can do to reduce size?
