After you've (re)moved your .kde/share/config/amarokrc and 
.kde/share/apps/amarok as described in that bug report?

I ask because to investigate your report I've created a fresh VirtualBox 
and installed Kubuntu 10.04 Beta 2, and started up Amarok.

For me that shows the behaviour mentioned in the bug report: Show 
Splashscreen = false.
