playback controls in playlist

Heya folks,

I think it is time to start the actual discussion about the playback
controls inlined in the playlist.

I have given them a try and I myself don't find them particularly
useful for myself but also think the config for them doesn't clutter
up very much. So if there are good usecases for them I am ok with
keeping them. Else I vote for removal to keep the number of config
options as small as possible and sane.

Opinions and usecases please.
