I don't have an especially large collection, but still I guess it'll help.

These are the datapoints for ordinary scan: 29.4 29.9 29.6
These are for your MegaImproved™ scan: 23.4 23.5 23.1

So, on average, the speedup is about 22% for ~3.5 ktracks. I suppose
for a larger collection it would be even better. At least didn't make
it slower ;)

Also, haven't noticed any bad stuff happening.
