What? Even if we release with it?
If this bug still exists it should be fixed now because it's a blocker.
What happens is that Amarok overwrites tags of the files _on disk_,  
with incorrect metadata. As far as I can tell it only affects tracks  
in a playlist, but if someone has the misfortune of dumping their  
entire collection into the playlist it'll all be screwed. Something  
which should never be allowed to happen.
Would love to help test this out but, of course, I'm busy :-)
And still trying to re-tag things from when I encountered this bug.
By the by, I haven't upgraded Amarok since hitting this bug so if I  
find some time I could find out how to reproduce this.

You guys should just push back the release if this bug isn't fixed.
 From what I see though, people complaining about it are using old  
versions of Amarok.
BUT. IF I AM WRONG DO NOT RELEASE WITH THIS BUG. It's eats babies. And  
kittehs.
