On the wiki, there are these instructions:
/usr/sbin/mysqld --default-storage-engine=MyISAM
- --defaults-file=`pwd`/my.cnf --datadir=`pwd`/mysqle --socket=`pwd`/sock
- --skip-grant-tables
But when I run it I get:
090315 10:06:44 [ERROR] mysqld: unknown variable
'defaults-file=/home/jeff/.kde/share/apps/amarok/my.cnf'
This is despite mysqld --help --verbose reporting:
- --defaults-file=# Only read default options from the given file #
Although it says file number...not sure what that is.
Anyone had luck?
- --Jeff
