I think that would make more sense for us.

1 - the example without the border is still showing one.
2 - Can you try to offset the head from the backdrop (CD?) a bit.
Maybe move in a southwesterly direction with the wolf's head :-)
P.S. the moon version is the best of the ones shown in this mockup.
